Buhari Appoints Muiz Banire As Chairman Of AMCON, 13 Others For FCSC
A former Legal Adviser of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Muiz Banire, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has been appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as Chairman of the Governing Board of the Assets Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON).
Banire’s appointment is contained in a letter sent to the Senate on Tuesday by the President, which was read by Senate President, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
The President also appointed the chairman and 12 commissioners of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC).
Saraki read Buhari’s letters to the legislature in which he sought the approval of the chamber.
